Inspiring imagination with sand and water play
At RBJ Schlegel Park, kids can pretend that they’re little archaeologists in the natural and sand play area where they “unearth” realistic fossils. The Fossil Jam and the Boulder Creek are made out of extra durable PolyFiberCrete. Boulder Creek is an accessible water play feature requiring no special installation or maintenance (just a waterline). Children push a button on the structure allowing water to flow for 5-10 seconds. Water flows through the creek to create a waterfall effect kids will love. Fun details like lobster and turtle friends encourage imaginative play. The 3 durable, realistic Log Pillars are natural looking climbers or can be used as a place to sit and relax. Rounding out this area is the Accessible E-Z Digger which allows little ones to dig in the sand as they pretend to be a construction worker; features 360º rotation and dual hand controls.
